Default npc actions that we can't do

mounts
crystal gaze
agonizing touch (mursaat skill, not sure on the name)
bone dragon

anything else to add to this list?

edit: perhaps for the extreme skills (like agonize and crystal skills) they could take up 3 or 4 slots on your skill bar, since they're so powerful. But mostly, I just want a bone dragon... seems unfair really.

I don't feel that it is unfair. In many many games, just about all games, monsters get skills that the "heros" can not gain, which makes the game more interesting, and more of a challenge.

Not sure if it really applies, but one monster on the beach in the FoW has two elite skills: Life Transfer and Grenth's Balance. Some sort of scale creature, can't remember the name.

If it took an extra skill slot to set an extra elite beyond the first I could imagine myself possible doing that.

Oh, Giant Stomp... annoying giants...

I have Grenth's Balance It's awesome... I don't have Life Transfer but I heard it was even better... However I'm talking about skills and spells that can't be capped by us. I would love to have Crystal Gaze (although that would, I know, be way way too powerful) and I'm frustrated that I can't summon or at least master a bone dragon... they can do it! Why can't I?

Mounts: Which enemies have mounts? I know Necrid Horsemen are on skeletal horses, but that's one unit.
Crystal Gaze: You mean Glint's spell? If you do, then that's way too powerful. Remember that we can't be level 31 either.
Spectral Agony: Wouldn't be any good past Iron Mines of Moladune, and would be too cheap before that.
Bone Dragon: What the hell are you talking about? The only thing I can think of that's even close to this is Animate Bone Fiend, which you can get.

Stone Summit cavalry of all sorts. That would be an awesome addition to Guild Halls, btw. Dolyak races

Cutting the head off Prince Rurik. Thats one thing I'd like to have been able to do since E34E.

Too bad it can't be done.

Inherent attributes-
Regeneration: Gradual health recovery without spell or effect, distinct from natural regeneration- Occurs even while losing health. [After losing any health, natural regeneration resets and requires a pause before restarting.]
Can not be knocked down: Can not be knocked down.
Resiliency: 1/2 hex and condition duration.

Enemy Skills-
Spectral Agony: Skill. Inflicts degeneration and damage over time depending on infusion.
Crystal Haze: Skill. Energy-using skills cause exhaustion.
Crystal Bonds: Hex. Removes a single enchantment and prevents further enchantments from being cast on the hexxed foe.
Jagged Crystal Skin (?): Stance (?). Not sure on the trigger conditions of this one, whether it's melee attacks that miss, or hit, or whatever. Inflicts damage to all nearby foes though. Also unsure on the name, as I always play casters and rarely get hit by it.
Soul Vortex: Spell. Sets bubble-like traps that send enemies that touch them into the lava.
Nibble: Skill (Attack?). Steals health. Never really paid attention to see if it was a direct steal, or if it was a damaging attack that healed the amount it hurt.
Crippling Attack (?): Attack. Cripples target when it hits. Unsure on the name.
Giant Stomp: (not sure if it's an attack or skill ><). Knocksdown and deals 25 damage to all creatures in the area. Unsure as to whether it affects creatures that can not be knocked down at all, as 25 damage isn't even a dent in their health, and they can't be knocked down.
Claim Resource: Skill. Used by NPC's to trigger various environmental effects.
Resurrect [Resurrect Gargoyle version]: (once again, unsure as to whether it's a spell or skill). 3 second resurrect to full health I think. Haven't seen it in ages.
Deafening Roar: Skill. Inflicts Dazed condition on nearby foes.

Not sure what I left out, but those're all that come to mind at the moment, described to the best of my ability, and as accurately as I can remember.

^_^ In my view, it might be unfair. -In strategy games even more than in rol playing games-, I dislike that the computer player may have an "ad hoc" advantage ("ad hoc" means more or less "with the purpose of fitting and end"). Thus, the purpose of computer players having different skills, armor, etc. than the human player a) may be to make it a greater challenge to defeat them, due to not know how to make it more challenging just by means of AI (Artificial Intelligence)... or b) may be because computer characters are of a different race than the human player character.

If it were (b) the case, it might be possible to use those skills if the races that use them become available, let's say, in a future chapter. And this is the case, for -at the moment- the computer players' characters of Guild Wars are mostly of a different race than the human players' characters. This is a proper reason. Isn't?

But, if it were (a) the case, it is much more hard to think that a better solution will come soon... I think that improving the AI is one of the main and difficult challenges for computer games makers. And this may be the case too, because the computer players of Guild Wars often have much more level...
